moss terrariums for mother's day...and beyond!
I have fallen in love...WITH MOSS! I am now designing moss terrariums and will be selling them on my etsy page. I plan on listing them this following week. So many ideas for these terrariums...I can hardly contain myself!!!! Will be adding little stone walls, nests, picket fences, garden sculptures. Plan to decorate the outside of some jars with rusted wires, pearls, lace, beeswax, solder. Such plans, such work, such FUN!!!

What a lovely idea! I can imagine one of those in a garden or on a front porch. A great little place for a garden fairy. Would it need much sun to keep the moss healthy?
Blessings!
Actually, moss terrariums don't need or like direct sunlight, so outside, shade is best. They would be great on a porch or on a table in a shade garden. Inside they are supposed to be able to thrive anywhere, but I have placed all of them near windows, I may put a couple "test" terrariums in low light spots to see how they do though...
Oh, that is exactly what I need. Flowers don't get enough sunlight on my front porch. A moss terrarium would go nicely with my begonias, ferns and coleus. I have some growing around our yard in different places, different light.
Your moss arrangements are beautiful. I hope they go well for you. :-) I will check back.
Blessings!
